Nike Ignite Putter
Nike is the new kid on the block when it comes to
club design. And even Tiger Woods will admit it took them a few years,
and some trial and error, to get up to speed. But they are hitting on
all cylinders and starting to churn out some dandy clubs. We offer the
Nike Ignite, as exhibit “A” of their quest to make you better on the
short grass.
This club will start something great in your game. The shaft helps position your eyes over the ball. The alignment system creates an optical connection between your ball and the club face, and helps you hit the ball where you want it. The head is weighted from side and back which creates high MOI, and eliminates twisting and offline putts on even poor ball strikes.
If you pick up an Ignite, be prepared to practice, since the club does demand a slightly unorthodox approach. But more time on the practice green will mean you use it less during your round. Getting comfortable with the Ignite will lead to getting significantly better on the carpet.
